Timeline: Season 3 "Thanks to Them," pre-Halloween

Personality: Hunter is, at his core, someone who wants to be very sure of himself. He wants to be seen as capable, strong, and accomplished. He wants approval, almost craves it, and can go to great lengths to be a people pleaser because of it. All of this stems from his placement in the Emperor's Coven and trying to curry Emperor Belos's favor; this was, however, an abusive relationship and Hunter still carries these emotional scars even out from under the Emperor's service. Even when with his friends or other people on his side, Hunter will attempt to make them happy. Not in a typical people-pleaser way, but in a way that shows that he can do it, he knows the answer, he can help them.
This isn't only in the eyes of others, though; this is to be adept in Hunter's own eyes, too. When he was working for Belos he knew who he was, and who he was going to be. He was a threat, he was able, he was confident. But as all that broke down around him (and he found out some things about his and Belos's past, like the whole "clone of Belos's brother" thing...), he lost a sense of everything about himself. He's directly stated that he misses knowing who he's supposed to be. This is coupled with the fact that, because of his lifestyle under the Emperor, he never interacted with others his own age, if anyone at all. This has left Hunter with almost no social skills, so he's trying to cobble all that together on top of himself.
All of this comes together to leave Hunter generally pretty taciturn, temperamental when he talks to others, and overeager to prove himself. But, there's a heart under all of this. He cares deeply, and he lets his actions speak louder than his words. While some of this is Hunter realizing he's done a lot of damage when he was on the evil side and trying to (over)fix that, a lot of it is he's genuinely a nice person underneath all that fluster. This is especially true when interacting with someone who's sad for whatever reason. He understands what it's like to be at your absolute lowest, but his friends have helped him climb out of it and so, he wants to help someone else with that, too. Even if he himself also still gets stuck down there. A lot.
There are other facets to him, of course. He has a temper to him, particularly when he thinks he's not being understood. He's very eager to learn, often going out of his way to pursue knowledge, and if left unchecked in a conversation he will rattle off everything he knows (noting though that Hunter is, more often than not, his own checker in this and might need to be encouraged to rattle). If he's feeling confident this can swing right into cockiness, but depending on the situation (such as something battle-centric) that isn't exactly unfounded. And if he has a mission? He will do everything he can to complete it and see it through, buckling down and working hard.
Overall Hunter has a lot going on, sometimes even all at once. He's a miserable mess of emotions but at least right now, it's working for him. And where it doesn't, he's figuring it out along the way.

Starter: I'd like him to start with a Type: Null, if possible. He and Type: Null have a number of parallels- Hunter himself is latest in a succession of clones made for a specific purpose, with a masked theme (at least at first for Hunter) and capable battle capabilities -and I think that making the connection will help him give the Type: Null the care and attention it'll need to evolve to Silvally.
